Special attention is paid to balance, finishing, and matching the weapon to individual size & tastes. Because of the individual nature of our weapons, we do not maintain a regular stock of all items. Weapons may be made to order but some items will be immediately available (see below). All our weapons will enhance your daily training and/or make extraordinary gifts. Among our favorite woods: Coco Bolo- heavy and hard, dark brown with streaks of orange, black &/or red Koa- famed for it's beautiful grain and color variations (AKA Hawaiian Mahogany) Macadamia Nut- light in weight with deep red color and "fish scale" grain White Oak- classic for budo training, good for heavy impact use We are now working with Eucalyptus and Ohia, two more locally grown Hawaiian woods.
