HOW TO PUT ON KNEELONS-
We find them most comfortable when velcro the closures are placed on the outer side of the knees. The upper strap is slightly longer and can be identified easily by the white label attached to it.
Do not cross the straps! Kneelons are designed to leave the back of the knee unobstructed. If the straps are crossed, they will tear due to abnormal and excessive stress during use.
ONE SIZE FITS ALL-
With stretchy straps and adjustable velcro closures, Kneelons are designed to fit "anyone". In fact, they fit 95% of our customers as they are. If your legs are exceptionally large or small you may have some problem with keeping your Kneelons fastened securely.
If you have this difficulty, you can easily modify them by adding a small piece of velcro in the right place. In either case, you will need two pieces of the fuzzy (not the hook) side of one inch wide velcro, about 3" long.
If you have large legs and the straps do not overlap enough, sew a velcro piece on to the end of the strap so as to effectively lengthen the existing piece of fuzzy velcro.
If your legs are thin and the straps overlap too far, sew the velcro piece onto the neoprene strap immediately to the inside of the existing piece of fuzzy velcro. You should have no trouble sewing through the neoprene straps using a standard sewing machine (or by hand). |
