Many Black Belt practitioners of aikido have long enjoyed use of the Yudansha book, issued by the Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo. The Kyu Book has a similar design but it is intended for all non-black belt members. Like the Yudansha book, the Kyu Book contains space to record promotions (5th kyu up to Shodan as well as youth grades from10th kyu). It contains space to record seminar attendance for many years of practice.

Our standard Kyu Book has the cover shown above, laminated for protection against dirt and moisture. Pages include identification & dojo information, promotion record, space for 48 seminars, a fee record and 3 blank pages for additional records.
